WHY CRE8CARE

Collaborative Venturing in Health & Social Care

The UK health & social care system is going through unprecedented challenges. This is due to an aging population with complex health conditions and substantial funding gaps.

Blue-chip technology companies could help improve performance and reduce operational costs. They could also help care receivers with issues such as loneliness, wellbeing and assisted living, but have stayed arms-length due to the system being complicated and underfunded (200+ local authorities & 21,000 individual care provider organisations).

This is despite healthcare being the only global trillion-dollar opportunity for technology companies.

stick_figure_cutting_ties_400_clr_11086.

Cre8Care believes the time is now right for innovation that's led by new business models.

Companies have been displacing incumbents, mobilising established markets and building formidable valuations through business model innovation for a century.

Ford Motor Company made vehicle ownership available to the masses and UBER has most recently been making vehicle ownership redundant. It's worth noting UBER was incorporated in 2009 and valued at $70 billion in 2018.

Business model innovation is however more challenging than product innovation due to it impacting everyone in the company and their being no systematic approach.

This can understandably lead to leadership teams avoiding opportunities.

In addition to open innovation development capabilities, the Intelligent Picture Frame helps care receivers with issues such as loneliness, well-being and assisted living. All are delivered through free to access apps from blue-chip technology companies.

Assistance comes through the connected picture frame, Alexa, Google Assistant, video and voice chat, instant messaging, physical world and music streaming as well as motion detection so friends & family will know if the kettle went on etc. The frame also provides home automation capabilities, the ability to send mobile texts and emails through natural speech alone. It will also locate loved ones and their schedules on a real-time map and provide remote insights into room temperatures.

Care workers can also save time by completing visit reports on the frame using natural speech.

Assisted Living

Starting at £40 the Linux based open innovation Intelligent Picture Frame is available in 3 different models. All can be provided by Cre8Care or self assembled using off-the-shelf hardware available through a number of online stores (e.g. Amazon & CPC).

The Maxi model comes with its own touchscreen. The Midi has identical performance to the Maxi only it uses a TV as its display through the HDMI port. The Mini is a lower performance model, which also uses the TV's HDMI port.

All Cre8Care Intelligent Picture Frames include a free to download operating system, free to access Cre8Care open source software and the free to access apps that help care receivers.

Being permanently resident in care receiver homes new services can be innovated and delivered to almost any connected device through almost any wireless protocol, on or off cloud.

As a result, new insights and personal data business models can be explored and secured alongside the guidance of regulated care providers, family & friends, and policymakers.

BLUE-CHIP TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS

The Cre8Living Home Labs evidenced based trials are corner-stoned by blue-chip technology companies that span the Internet of Things ecosystem, specifically devices, gateways, communications, big data and applications.

In return for management fees, risk and profit sharing agreements, Cre8Care helps technology partners to immerse themselves alongside health & social care professionals and ecosystem.

This is so they can deeply uncover, identify new global opportunities, architect, simulate, verify and test proof-of-value products and services that can be priced and scaled.

Performance

Income

Cre8Care's regulated care providers typically have a minimum of 500 remote care workers and are located in both urban and rural locations.

Their care receiver communities have a spectrum of care category needs from dementia to diabetes. As trusted advisors, they act in the best interests of the people they care for, including guidance on equitable agreements for access to personal data with trusted blue-chip technology companies.

Cre8Care will work with technology partner companies to improve performance and reduce operational costs principally through location-based services, artificial intelligence and big data. We will also help their care receiver communities with loneliness, wellbeing and assisted living through free to access technology license agreements for proof-of-value evidenced based trials.

In addition to helping care receivers with new business models that help them to live independently for longer, we also work alongside care providers to secure new high impact agreements that help with operational issues and new income streams.

CRE8CARE

INDEPENDENT LIVING-PLATFORM-AS-A-SERVICE

(5-Phases)

The health & social care system could substantially benefit from just three key API sets. That is Location Based Services, Artificial Intelligence & Big Data.

This could be from helping to detect disease earlier through to reducing care worker fuel mile costs.

Through our partners and the Linux based open innovation Intelligent Picture Frame, Cre8Care is working alongside Nasdaq and FTSE listed companies to build a proof-of-concept Independent Living Platform-as-a-Service over 5-phases.

According to Gartner, there will be 1.15 billion connected devices by 2020.

During this first phase of the Independent Living PaaS evidenced based trials, Cre8care is working alongside leading Nasdaq & FTSE companies to explore a market that's estimated to be valued at $300 billion.

Together we are attempting to secure the identity of the individual, their medical devices and device apps, deep at the silicon chip level.

With provenance secured, we will then commingle the currently siloed device data so the Intelligent Picture Frame and cloud-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems can detect disease earlier and alert clinicians through higher definition clinical and non-clinical health data insights.

We are also investigating what impact the insights could have on helping health insurance companies to better price risk.

Phase One Key Objectives:

  • Give care receivers more control over their health and wellbeing.

  • Increase the ability of people to live independently for longer.

  • Help care providers and receivers to improve life quality through technology.

  • Reduce bed stays and care home admissions.

  • Help care providers improve responsiveness at an earlier stage.

  • Reduce the amount of time care receives spend in hospital.

  • Relieve the stress on family & friends, by providing them with the confidence that they will be alerted if something goes wrong.

CRE8CARE OPEN INNOVATION INTELLIGENT PICTURE FRAME

DEVELOPMENT KIT

Supporting the evidenced-based trials is the Cre8Care Intelligent Picture Frame development kit. Available across 3 different off-the-shelf models, innovators large and small can benefit from accessing an existing global developer community.

CRE8CARE INTELLIGENT PICTURE FRAME (PAAS)

COMPANION APP

The Cre8Care platform is road-mapped to be geocoded and geofenced. This is so the planned companion care worker location-based app can be synchronized with the frame, and so approved platform providers can enrich care receiver lives through new services.

Location.png

The care worker companion app leverages the same blue-chip technology APIs that help fleet management, on-demand taxi firms and mobile asset management companies. Its anticipated these capabilities could help the UK system save up to £100m annually through reduced fuel costs (c.$2 billion globally).

These location-based capabilities will help to schedule, route and navigate care workers turn-by-turn through real-time and historic road-network insights. This includes actionable decisions based on traffic flow, incidents and road geometry for electric vehicles.

In addition to dynamically optimizing visit rosters, the app will also help with transit routes which include trains, taxis, buses, and bicycles. Being location based the app will take the heavy lifting out of reporting when care workers arrive and leave peoples homes.

It will also provide the foundations for the planned up-stream fixed asset management and on demand economy platform capabilities during phases two and three.
